The Selection Process

CEMS has total responsibility for selecting the award recipients on the basis of the student's academic record, participation in school activities, work experience, community service activities, financial need, unusual personal or family circumstances, and a teacher recommendation. CEMS receives the application and makes the selection of award recipients.

Scholarship Awards

Only one completed application is necessary to be considered for all awards an applicant qualifies for; all awards are made without regard to race, creed, color, sex, religion, or national origin. All awards are based on a combination of academic achievement and financial need.

  • Stanley O. Styles Scholarships
  • PAPER Foundation Scholarships

Announcement and Distribution of Awards

Recipients of awards will be notified by May 13, 2013. The awards will be made by CEMS on behalf of the PAPER Foundation. The award checks will be mailed directly to the school during August 2013.
