Young Leader of the Year Award
Of the NPTA Alliance

The NPTA Alliance Recognizes Those Individuals
Under the age of 45 who have Demonstrated
Outstanding Leadership in this Industry

The NPTA Alliance recognizes and honors those individuals who have made significant contributions to their companies, their industry and their Association during the year. This award honors those individuals, under the age of 45, for their outstanding achievement.

Winners of the Young Leader of the Year Award are those individuals who has committed themselves to personal development, education and leadership. They have demonstrated their goal of becoming an outstanding manager within their companies, and are the future leaders of our industry. These individuals are models for others within their companies, Association and industry to follow. As a result of their leadership, their companies have grown in stature, reputation, and significance in their trading areas, and have helped the industry to prosper.

Winners of the Young Leader of the Year Award will have their names and photographs recognized in the pages of the Association’s national magazine. They will also be lauded throughout the industry through press releases sent to the media.

This recognition is for those who are employed by companies within the industry, whether supplier, distributor, or service provider; U.S. or international; whose company is a member in good standing of the NPTA Alliance in the year that they win the award.

The selection of winners of the Young Leader of the Year Award is made by the selection committee. This committee is made up of members of the Young Leaders Steering Committee and the President of the NPTA Alliance.

Nominations are accepted at the NPTA Alliance headquarters and should be addressed to the President. Nominees remain on an active list and do not have to be re-nominated each year. When an individual reaches the age of 45, or leaves the industry or their company is no longer a member of the Association, he or she will automatically be removed from the list. The number of Young Leader of the Year Awards to be given each year is dependent upon the decision of the selection committee. As this is a prestigious award, there may be years when no awards are given.
