The ONLY magazine serving the paper, packaging, and supplies distribution channel. The magazine contains industry news pertaining to companies, events, products, personnel, and business articles for management and sales representatives. Annual NPTA Alliance Convention
Each year the members of the NPTA Alliance come together to meet with their suppliers in the privacy of a suite environment. These suite meetings are the highlight of the Convention and the reason the Convention exists today. In addition, the Alliance uses this time to gather the members of its Division committees to plan the future of the Association and how it can provide beneficial services to its members. Attendance is free for merchant members.
The Paper & Packaging Weekly eNewsletter
Our research has shown that members of the Association want and need better information to help them run their businesses. The Paper & Packaging Weekly e-mail newsletter, sent each Wednesday, that provides members with information, links to articles, white papers, and reports that will help them run their businesses more profitably and effectively.
PAR Report The PAR Report provides benchmarking analysis on 200 performance measures of participating companies both regionally and nationally — the only legal way to compare your company with others. Free to all NPTA Alliance members who participate in the survey. Distributor members in the U.S. and Canada can participate by completing the questionnaire. If you need a questionnaire contact NPTA Headquarters, 800-355-NPTA (6782), or by email, npta@gonpta.com. Questionnaires are available as of February 1 and the filing deadline is April 15.
Compensation
Summary Report on Wages & Salaries in the paper, packaging and supplies distribution
channel
Includes summarized data, both regionally and nationally, on distributor wages, salaries and benefits for all the major job functions. This invaluable report, which is not available to non-NPTA Alliance members, is free to all who participate in the survey (published biennially in even years).
Annual Distributor Business Forecast Report
Annual analysis of distributor plans for the coming year with special attention to technology, business planning and training.
Paper Distribution Business Quarterly
An authoritative view of the state of the paper distribution business. The report includes relevant material from many other current business studies, including the CEO Confidence Survey of the Conference Board, National Association for Printing Leadership (NAPL) and others. thinkCLEAN.org
The thinkCLEAN program is a not-for-profit industry-wide initiative to increase awareness of issues surrounding healthy sanitation and personal hygiene and to facilitate the dissemination of current and relevant rersearch and information. This program is meant to educate and empower the distributor sales force to more efficaciously leverage this information while presenting its products to end-users.

Management Development Program (MDP)
MDP is a two-week program split into one-week sessions beginning either in the fall or spring and held at Miami University in Ohio. The curriculum is crafted by leaders in the industry making it the preeminent management training program in the paper, packaging and supplies distribution channel.
Annual Management Conference (AMC)
This program is open to all members of the NPTA Alliance and includes informative, industry-specific seminars. General sessions, combined with segmentation of the programming by type of business, will give members more relevant education. The Association’s volunteer leaders also gather at the Conference to take part in Division Committee meetings.
Printech Program
A three-day intensive program which addresses graphic arts "from the paper point of view." Held twice each year: East and West locations.
