The Paper Distribution Conference was founded in 1959 with the purpose of uniting senior executives and thought leaders from the most prominent paper merchants and paper manufacturers to address issues and opportunities. Its primary goals are:

- To facilitate business relationships and friendships among peers and trading partners

The 58th Annual Meeting of the Paper Distribution Council was held January 24-26, 2017, at the Ritz-Carlton Golf Resort in Naples, Florida. The top industry leaders networked and shared ideas, examining current trends and discussing pressing issues facing the industry.
